Not sure the origin of this dish, but so far I only find it in Bogor (and one seller, nonetheless). My guess this exist someplace else, with a different name.
This is one of my niece's favourite dish (mine too). What's not to love? It's a comfort food and has 3 of yummy ingredients : ham, potato and cheese :-).
I also like making this dish coz it's so easy and fail-proof. Thanks to epicurious for this recipe.
Clockwise from top left :
Kimchi Soup; Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup): Chajang Myun; Ramyeon; Mushroom Shabu-Shabu; Caviar Bibimbap; Side Dishes with Kimchi; Bulgogi.
Ramyeon (라면) at Teumsae Ramyeon (Myeongdong, Seoul)
A traditional Korean snack made of honey, malt and filled with ground nuts.
I know, the picture is not that appealing, but it was interesting the way they made it (you can find it on YouTube). The dough was stretched & pulled many times until broken into thousands of strands (they said 16,000 strands), which then filled with ground nuts and folded.
Welcome to my food-photo album! I love a good food picture, the one that can make a dish, a cake, a cookie, or even a simple salad looks appetizing. These are my attempt to make such pictures. Hope u enjoy it :)
